The PEACE Program for Childen and Youth - Salmo
The PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program offers counselling for children and youth (age 3 to 18) who have witnessed abuse, threats or violence in the home.
Counsellor works with children and youth, individually and in groups, to support and facilitate the expression of feelings, teach healthy ways of expressing anger, teach safety skills and strategies and build self-confidence.
Also provides education, support and counselling to the parents and caregivers of these children and youth as well as offering school-based education activities designed to prevent violence
Self-referrals welcome.
