Boundary Second Stage Housing Program
Provides 1 year of safe, secure housing and supports for women with or without children, who have left an abusive relationship, and/or are at risk of violence.
Offers support with transitioning into independent living. This may include safety-planning, referrals to community supports, budgeting, job stability, emotional support and locating long term housing,.
Offers groups that are tailored to the needs of residents and their children.
Support staff are on the premises 32 hours a week, and residents have access to the support staff at the Boundary Transition House at all other times.
A program of the Boundary Women's Coalition which also offers:
- The Boundary Women's Transition House
- An Outreach program supporting women and their children affected by violence but who are not staying at the Transition House
- Stopping the Violence Counselling
- The Boundary Women's Resource Centre
