24hBoundary Women's Transition House - Grand Forks

Offers 24 hour temporary,  free safe, pet friendly shelter, and support for adult women and their dependant children, who are at risk of abuse, threats or violence.

Assists women and their children with supportive counselling, referrals, resources, advocacy and accompaniment to appointments.

Has protocol with the Ministry of Children and Family Development to provide emergency housing for teen women.

Services are confidential and there are no fees.

A program of the Boundary Women's Coalition which also offers:

• An Outreach program  supporting women and their children affected by violence but who are not staying at the Transition House. 
• Stopping the Violence Counselling 
• Second Stage Housing
• The Boundary Women's Resource Centre
