Axis House Community Based Withdrawal Management Program - Kootenay Boundary

An 8 bed (private single occupancy) community based residential withdrawal management (detox) program  for adults who are medically stable. 

Program includes discharge planning which may involve connection to ongoing substance use treatment and supports, connection to a primary care physician or nurse practitioner, mental health services and supports and linkages to other ongoing services and supports.

Located in Castlegar and serves the West Kootenay Boundary region.

Referral and assessment required from a Physician, Hospital, Mental Health & Substance Use office and/or other health service.

Program funded by Interior Health.
