Fair PharmaCare

Provides B.C. families with coverage for eligible prescription drugs, designated medical supplies and pharmacy services.

Amount of coverage is based on net income.

Also ensures that B.C. residents, regardless of income, are protected from catastrophic drug costs.

All eligible British Columbians are encouraged to register for the plan.  Coverage begins immediately after registering online or by phone. There is no charge to register and there are no premiums to pay.

Eligibility includes having valid B.C. Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage; and having filed an income tax return for the relevant taxation year (i.e., two years ago).
