Career Development Services (CDS) - Trail

Offers a wide range of services and programs to individuals with diverse needs and abilities within the Greater Trail region.

Employment Services: Offers employment support to individuals with significant barriers to employment. Within each program,  the overlapping strategies are based on the job seekers individualized skills and abilities, The three main employment programs offered through CDS are:

• Supported Employment Services: 
• Learning for Living (LFL): 

Outreach and Community Inclusion Programs   Outreach supports include assistance with daily living activities, whereas Community Inclusion supports center around social integration, including offering participation in various groups:

• Peer group
• Social & Recreation Group
• Cooking Group
• Music Group
• Sewing Group
• Theatre group

CDS Also operates social enterprise businesses:

• Thrifty Treasures Thrift Store
• CDS Property Maintenance Contracts
• CDS Outdoor Landscaping/Snow Removal Crew
