Peace and Justice Studies - Selkirk College

Peace and Justice Studies offers a rigorous study of the nature of peace and conflict, with the goal of seeking better ways to solve conflict, and to reduce violence.

This two-year diploma program emphasizes building cultures of peace through interdisciplinary study, conflict analysisand transformation and service learning.

Courses offer specific learning in leadership, conflict resolution, the environment, restorative justice and global issues.

The Mir Centre is a collaborative initiative of Selkirk College, the Doukhobor, Aboriginal and other local communities and is houses programs for healing, reconciliation, cooperation and understanding within communities and nations.
