Nelson and District Women's Centre

Centre provides many services, resources and opportunities for women, including (as of summer 2024): 

Drop-in, Resource and Referral Program: Tuesdays 11am - 3pm includes:

• Coffee, tea, snacks and free nutritious food  
• a free clothing store
• information and referrals about health, employment, financial assistance, housing, and abuse 
• compassionate peer counselling
• access to computers, free internet and library

Crisis Support: Wednesdays: 12 noon - 3pm By Appointment

Crafternoon: Opportunity to try out various craft projects: Thursdays: 12:30 - 2:30pm

Queer Drop-in: Fridays: 3:30 to 5:30pm
