Nelson and District Women's Centre

Centre provides many services, resources and opportunities for women, including:

Drop-in, Resource and Referral Program:

• Drop-in: Tuesdays  & Wednesdays 11am - 3pm includes:
  • Coffee, tea, snacks and free nutritious food  a free clothing store
  • a children's play area
  • information and referrals about health, employment, financial assistance, housing and abuse
  • compassionate peer counselling
  • access to computers, free internet and library
• Crafternoon Drop-in:  Thursdays: 12noon - 3pm includes:
  • Opportunity to try out various crafts
  • Free lunch provided

Youth Drop-in: Wednesdays 3 to 6pm
