BC Foster Parents Association (BCFPA)

Provides information to the general public about fostering and recruitment services.

Offers foster parents a support network through Branch affiliations and accessible fostering information and education, a hub to share news across our sector and insurance resources for foster caregivers. 

Provides step by step information and support to those interested in becoming foster parents, including providing an Foster Caregiver Applicant Intake form  which is then forwarded to the appropriate MCFD  office or Aboriginal Agency office for processing.  

Provides extra help to foster children to attend summer camps.

Administers educational funding and bursaries for both children and youth in care and former foster children needing financial help to further their education.
