Family Support Institute

Strengthens and supports BC families faced with the extraordinary circumstances that come with having a family member who has a disability.

Provides information, training and province-wide networking to assist families and their communities to build upon and share their strengths.

Trained Resource Parents/Peers volunteer their time to be supportive of other parents of children with disabilities, including meeting with them, accompanying them to meetings and providing information about local community resources and services.
