BC Schizophrenia Society - Kootenay Boundary

Maintains branches throughout BC, including in the Kootenay Boundary region, to provide support for families and friends of people with schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses including bipolar, serious depression and psychosis.

Services offered by the Kootenay Boundary Regional Educator include emotional support, education on mental health, resources and help navigating the mental health system.

The Society also works to increase public awareness and understanding, advocates on behalf of people with schizophrenia and promotes research into its causes and ultimate cure.
