Trans Connect

Empowers and supports the well being of transgender people in the West and East Kootenay.

Objectives are:

• To increase the knowledge and skills of rural community service providers and the general public on trans awareness.
• To connect trans folk to each other and to services.
• To provide a Resource and Referral Network.

Program activities include offering community forums, workshops for service providers and other professionals and providing safe spaces for trans folk to connect.

Program is located in the ANKORS office in Nelson
