KidSport Nelson

A community based sport charity that provides grants up to $500 per calendar year for children 18 years and under who would otherwise not have a chance to participate in an organized sport of their choice because their families are experiecing financial hardship.

Serves children in the Nelson Area

 Sport activities must be affiliated with the member sport organizations of Sport BC and demonstrate a sustained sport experience (a season of sport led by a qualified coach) for a minimum of 8 weeks and include at least one session per week.
