Adult Mental Health Services - Trail Area

Provides a range of services for adults with mental health concerns. Services are person centered, recovery oriented, trauma informed, culturally safe and utilize harm reduction principles.

Access Services is the point of entry for all people who are referred to community MHSU Services. Purpose is to gather information, provide brief intervention or immediate assistance, and support transition to appropriate support which may include:

Counselling & Treatment Services: Provides counselling for people experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns.  Services may include assessment & intervention, psychiatric consultation, early psychosis intervention, perinatal counselling, self-management support, group and individual counselling .

Treatment, Support & Recovery Services:  Provides treatment and support to help people with major mental illness and substance use concerns. Services may include: Screening and assessment, medication administration, review & monitoring, counselling, treatment & recovery plans, crisis intervention, life skills support, self-management support, relapse preventions, care coordination & referrals to programs such as the Clubhouse

Additional programs include: Seniors Mental Health & Substance Use Services,  and the following regional programs:   Eating Disorders Treatment, Developmental Disability Mental Health Services  and the Aboriginal Patient Navigator

Individuals may self-refer or referral may be made by a family member, physician or other helping professional.

Serves communities and rural areas in the Lower Columbia area including the Beaver Valley, Fruitvale, Genelle, Montrose, Rossland, Trail, Warfield.
