Better at Home Program - Slocan Valley

Provides many non-medical services to help seniors aged 65 and older to continue to live at home independently.

Services are offered by paid staff, contractors and volunteers, all of who have gone through and passed criminal record checks..

All seniors over 65+ are welcome to services. 

Subsidies are available to all seniors dependent on an ability to pay.  Some services are offered for free.

Serves seniors in Area H (Summit Lake / Hills to Playmor Junction) as well as the villages of New Denver, Silverton and Slocan & surrounding area. 

The program also offers a number of Senior Activities in communities served.
