Diverse Family Roots

A grassroots, parent/family-driven support network for families with children or family members with diverse abilities/disabilities based in the Kootenays.

Promotes peer-to-peer mentoring, family connections, family support, connection to resources, advocacy, and family navigation of services.

The website includes information about resources as well as volunteer Family Stewards who are located in communities throughout the Kootenays and are willing to connect with local families to offer support, help finding resources, advocacy, etc.
