Women's Outreach and Support - Castlegar

Offers support to women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing violence or domestic abuse including:

• Help with safety planning
• Accompaniment to important appointments
• Assistance accessing safe homes and transition houses
• Assistance with transportation
• Help finding low cost housing 
• Advocacy as needed
• Referrals to community agencies

Provides community education to raise awareness of the effect of violence against women.
