Early Years Developmental Screening

One of  the family Action Network's (FAN) key objectives is to raise awareness about the importance of regularly checking all children from birth to age five for developmental milestones.

Ages and Stages Clinics

• Clinics are offered each year in the Spring and Fall in various locations in the Trail & Castlegar area.
• Screening for children from birth to age five is offered in partnership with local early childhood professionals and provides a chance for local families to have a free opportunity to check their child’s development.
•  Families can ask questions during the appointment about topics like eating, sleeping, walking, behaviour and talking.

Check Early-Check Often

• Several Centres in the Trail and Castlegar area offer parents the opportunity to meet with a staff=person and to check their young child's development.
