BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH)

Facilitates and supports the establishment of transition houses and other services to battered women and their children. Provides advocacy for battered women and their children.

Monitors laws regarding spousal abuse. Develops and delivers training and resources for workers on the front lines in transition houses and PEACE counsellors.

Engages in public education and prevention activities.

Does not provide frontline support services.
