BC Seniors Supplement Program
Low-income seniors who are permanent residents of BC and who receive the Old Age Security (OAS) and Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) allowances may be able to get a monthly payment from the B.C. government to top-up their federal income.
Those who receive receive the federal spouse allowance (also known as The Allowance and/or The Allowance for the Survivor) and are aged 60 to 65 may also be eligible.
There is no need to register. Payment is automatic and sent in the same way as the OAS/GIS.
