Lower Columbia Affordable Housing Society (LCAHS)

A non-profit society providing affordable rental housing for low to moderate income households in the Lower Columbia region ( includes Rossland,  Warfield, Trail,  Montrose, Fruitvale, the Beaver Valley and Areas A & B).

Applicants for housing need to qualify based on income and asset limits, consistent with BC Housing guidelines.  Additional criteria may be applied when housing has been earmarked for a specific population (eg seniors, families, persons with disabilities, etc)

The Society currently offers a total of 56 rental units in various locations in Rossland and Trail, with an additional 31 units in Fruitvale currently scheduled to open in late 2025
