Nelson CARES Society - Affordable Housing

Offers a number of affordable housing possibilities in the Nelson Area including:

Cedar Grove Estates: 500 Richards Street West: Affordable rental housing for for low income seniors, persons with disabilities, and families.

Copper Mountain Court: 505 Beasley Street West: Affordable rental housing for low income families

Hall Street 205 Hall Street:  Affordable rental housing for low to moderate income families and seniors

Lakeside Place 805 Nelson Avenue: Affordable rental housing for seniors and persons with disabilities

Ward Street Place: 567 Ward Street:  Affordable, low-barrier housing and supported living for low income single adults.

Vacancies are filled based on need. Criteria for affordable housing includes: Income status, those fleeing violence, at risk of becoming homelessness, and family size based on BC Housing guidelines.
