Better At Home Program - Arrow Lake
Provides many non-medical services to keep seniors aged 65 and older in their homes. Services include:
- Light Housekeeping
- Snow removal
- Minor home repairs/ home maintenance
- Light yard work
- Grocery Shopping
- Bus Transportation
- Some local transportation
- Friendly Visiting
Services are offered by paid staff, contractors and volunteers, all of who have gone through and passed criminal record checks..
All seniors over 65+ are welcome to Better at Home services. Subsidies are available to all seniors dependent on an ability to pay. Some services are offered for free.
Serves seniors in Nakusp, Burton, Fauquier and Edgewood and surrounding area.
