Kootenay Seniors

Offers in-person services, information and resources for seniors, their families and service providers. 

Services include:

• The Seniors Home Support Program providing light housekeeping and laundry for Nelson area residents. Fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on income.
• The  Kootenay Seniors Transportation Program providing information, options and support to help seniors meet their transportation needs.
• Free weekly activities, workshops and events in the Lakeside Place Amenity Room including Community Social Meals , Qi Gong, Chair Yoga,  and Coffee Time.  See the Kootenay Seniors Events Calendar for details.
