24hNakusp Safe Home Program

Provides safe, confidential, and free temporary housing to women (and their children) fleeing violence or the risk of violence.

Service is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Phone, text or email (via the website)

Offers women a safe, supportive living environment, as well as transportation, accompaniment, assistance with a safety plan and advocacy support.

Provides information and assistance to help access financial assistance, legal aid, affordable housing, counselling and other supportive resources.

Available to residents of Nakusp and surrounding communities of Burton, Edgewood, Fauquier, Hills, New Denver, Silverton, Summit Lake and Trout Lake.
