Broader Horizons Adult Day Program - Nelson

A day program of social activities and health services including a hot lunch meal for people living at home who would benefit from these activities in a group setting.

Referrals to the Adult Day program must come from Home Health Intake & Assessment

Maintains and / or improves the client's social skills and physical and mental health so they will be able to remain in the community for as long as it is physically, socially and economically feasible to do so and as an alternative to residential placement.

Provides respite services that offer choices for caregivers, are a cost effective alternative to in-home respite care and maintain a safe supervised setting for assistance.
