Adult Day Program - Castlegar

A day program of social activities and health services including a hot lunch meal for people living at home who would benefit from these activities in a group setting.

Referrals to Adult Day programs must come from Home Health. Call the Assessment / Intake phone number to inquitere about a referral

Designed to maintain and / or improve the client's social skills and physical and mental health so they will be able to remain in the community for as long as it is physically, socially and economically feasible to do so and as an alternative to residential placement.

Day Programs provide respite services that offer choices for caregivers, are a cost effective alternative to in-home respite care and maintain a safe supervised setting.

Program takes place at Castle Wood Village 525 Columbia Avenue.

People not referred by Home Health may also participate for a fee by contacting Castlegar Wood Village directly.
