The Board assesses credentials and registers qualified social workers, encourages high standards of practice and reviews complaints concerning social work practice.
Many Registered Social Workers provide counselling, therapy, and other services to individuals, families, and groups on a private basis.
One may confirm whether an individual is now or previously was a Registered Social Worker, or obtain a list of registered social workers by going to their website's Searchable Online Public Registry or by contacting the office.
