CBAL Settlement Services - Castlegar Area

For those living in the Castlegar area who are permanent residents,  live-in caregivers,  refugees and refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers,  provincial nominees,  naturalized Canadian citizens and international students.

Free services include: English language training, learning about the community, housing, banking / shopping,  transportation, citizenship,  referrals / access to services

Settlement services aim to provide newcomers with the information they need about Canada and their community.   These may include one to one drop-in support,  group workshops, English classes and conversation groups, a mentorship program, community connections and activities aimed at connecting families with Canadian citizens, employers, community organizations and public institutions.
