Cicada Place, Independence for Youth Program - Nelson

A 10-unit apartment program for at-risk youth to live independently within a supportive environment.

Program assists adolescents aged 16 to 22 to make the transition into responsible adulthood.

Provides the opportunity to develop independent living skills through:

  • Individual and group life skills support
  • Bridging to community services
  • Connecting to educational programs
  • Crisis intervention
  • Navigating Ministry services
  • Household management support

Staff generally work from 9am to 5pm but are often away from the phone, so leave a message & they will call back.
