Cicada Place, Independence for Youth Program - Nelson
A 10-unit apartment program for at-risk youth to live independently within a supportive environment.
Program assists adolescents aged 16 to 22 to make the transition into responsible adulthood.
Provides the opportunity to develop independent living skills through:
- Individual and group life skills support
- Bridging to community services
- Connecting to educational programs
- Crisis intervention
- Navigating Ministry services
- Household management support
Staff generally work from 9am to 5pm but are often away from the phone, so leave a message & they will call back.
