Child and Youth Legal Centre committed to improving the well-being of children and youth in British Columbia through the advancement of their legal rights. The role of the Centre is to advocate on behalf of vulnerable children and youth in BC. Contact the centre by phone or email to talk or meet with lawyer.
Child and Youth Friendly Communities Program: goals include developing a climate in BC communities that respects children’s rights; meeting children’s need for safe, healthy communities that allow children to thrive; and involving children and youth actively in creating their community’s future.
Child Rights Public Awareness Campaign has included roundtables on children’s rights, the creation of a child rights network, a multimedia campaign, community and youth engagement activities, and the creation and dissemination of child rights resources across the province, including multilingual resources.
