College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC Complaints Process

College will review complaints regarding the care provided by physicians and surgeons in BC.

Complaints are generally considered regarding: Medical Care; Ethics, Conduct and Communication; and Concerns of an Intimate or Sexual Nature.

There is no specific time limit regarding complaints, but it is helpful if complaint is made sooner rather than later.

All complaints must be written, signed and forwarded to the College. The written complaint must be accompanied by a completed Consent Form (Available from the website).
