Complaints Resolution Process, BC Employment Standards

Employers and employees are first encouraged to try to resolve disputes under the BC Employment Standards Act and Regulations.

The 'Self-Help Kit', available at the Employment Standards Office, or online, provides tools and advice to help employees resolve the issue.

If, after working through this self-help process, the dispute has not been resolved, the employee can make a formal complaint to the Employment Standards Branch.
