Trail Community Based Victim Services (CBVS)
Provides free assistance to victims of violence and abuse within relationships, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, criminal harassment and stalking. No referral needed.
Services include:
- Information about the Criminal Justice system and emotional support to / accompaniment for victims, witnesses and families during the court process and other related appointments.
- Assistance with forms such as Crime Victim Assistance Program, Legal Aid and Victim Impact Statements.
- Referrals to counsellors and other relevant services.
Is a Legal Aid community partner, which means staff can help clients get free legal information, call Legal Aid, find the nearest Legal Aid office, get legal help online; and connect with other resources.
Hosts the Access Pro Bono Law Clinic.
