Mediate BC Society

Provides information about mediation, including: information about the mediation process, conflict resolution organizations, mediation training opportunities, and mediation-related developments in British Columbia.

Manages Directories (Rosters) of qualified civil and family mediators who have, at a minimum, completed a basic level of training and experience and have agreed to follow the Society's code of conduct. As well, the Society is affiliated with BC's Child Protection Mediation Program, and in this capacity manages information about the mediators in this Directory.

The Society provides easy access to information about the mediators in the following categories:

• Family (Parenting)
• Civil Procedure
• Family (Property)
• Child Protection
• Med-Arb  Practitioners

Other services include help in selecting a mediator and a complaints process to deal with allegations of misconduct or breach of the Society's Standards of Conduct by mediators on its Civil or Family Rosters.
