Kootenay Restorative Justice (KRJ) Program

Offers Restorative Justice services by responding to cases referred by RCMP in the area surrounding Nelson, the municipalities of Salmo, Trail, Castlegar, Slocan, Winlaw, New Denver, Nakusp, Kaslo and the outlying communities in the Central and West Kootenays. 

This Community Accountibility Program program holds low risk, youth and adult offenders accountable for their actions, gives victims a voice, repairs the harm caused by an offence and helps restore balance in the community.

Organizes & facilitates restorative conferences bringing together  all parties involved.
