Helps local communities to become more entrepreneurial by providing access to capital through business lending, by providing advisory and training services and by supporting economic development projects.

Also provides:
- Business loans for new and existing businesses
- Free access to the Regional Business Library
- Free business courses, training and seminars
- Free high speed internet access and computer time
Communities served include Trail, Rossland, Warfield, Genelle, Fruitvale, Montrose and Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Areas A and B.
