Claims Process - WorkSafeBC

Provides financial, medical and rehabilitation assistance to workers who are hurt or disabled by occupational injury and disease.

Compensation includes payment for time lost from work, medical aid, pension awards for permanent disability, vocational rehabilitation services and pension wards to dependents of fatally injured workers.

It is against the law for an employer to tell the worker not to report an injury or disease or even to try to talk the worker out of reporting to WorkSafeBC.
