Acquired Brain Injury Services - Kootenay Boundary

Provides Acquired Brain Injury Services for adults age 19 to 64 include Coordination and Case management, Neuropsychological assessment, Speech Language, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services. Does not offer services for those with mild TBI (concussion), but may offer general information regarding concussion and what might be expected.

Referral must be through Interior Health's Central Intake Line and may be a self-referral or by a healthcare practitioner.

The Coordinator will do an assessment and possibly refer clients to the  Kootenay Brain Injury Association  or other community services for support.
