Nelson Health Centre

Centre offers a wide range of health services for the community including:

• Pregnancy, Infant & Children (0-5 years) Health Services  including pre-conception & prenatal information, pregnancy and postnatal supports for vulnerable families, well baby assessments and childhood immunizations, 
• Child & Youth ( 5- 18 years) Services: including dental health, immunizations and Healthy Schools initiatives.
• Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Services
• Other health services including: Health Services for Community Living, Environmental Health, Food Safety, Air Quality Safety, Community Care Facilities Licensing, Nutrition / Dietitian Services, Recreational Water Safety, Water Quality Program

Note: Central Home Health services for the Nelson, Salmo, Nakusp, New Denver, Kaslo & Slocan Valley areas are located in the Gordon Road Wellness Centre.
