Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) - Salmo & Ymir
Free drop-in programs for parents and caregivers with children 0 to 6 years living in Salmo and Ymir.
Offers opportunities to build friendships with other adults and children in the community, in a safe, warm and accepting environment.
Provide opportunities for adults and children to bond while exploring the Family Centres, equipped with age appropriate games and toys, books and dress up clothes, craft materials and musical instruments.
Salmo Family Group "Play with Me" : Wednesdays: 10 - 11:30am; Family Resource Room, Salmo Valley Youth & Community Centre, 206 7th St
Ymir Family Group: Tuesdays: 10:30am - 12:30pm, Ymir Hall
Programs run from September to June, following the school calendar, with breaks at Christmas and March
