Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) Program - Boundary

Serves Boundary communities including Beaverdell, Bridesville, Christina Lake, Grand Forks, Greenwood, Midway, Rock Creek and Westbridge.

Works toward enhancing the availability and quality of a wide range of child care options, services and events for children and families throughout the Boundary.

Services to Childcare Providers include:

• Training and networking opportunities
• Free access to resource and toy library
• Referrals to parents seeking childcare
• Reduced rates for laminating
• Faxing and photocopying
• CCRR staff assist and guide child care providers in creating friendly, safe spaces and programs to promote quality care and healthy child development.

Services to Parents and the Community include:

• Information and assistance in choosing the right child care provider
• Free Information pamphlets on a wide variety of childcare and child development topics
• Access to a free, quarterly newsletter with community information, recipes, child development information and more 
• Educational workshops at minimal or no cost
• Access to a FREE public play space (booking ahead is recommended)
• Programs such as "Rhyme & Shine" 
• Borrow from the resource lending library (no charge for membership)  
• Free referral service to registered and licensed childcare providers
• Assistance with completing forms and free faxing of affordable child care benefits (ACCB)
• Outreach to the West Boundary
