MCFD Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Services - Trail

Services available for children and adolescents who are experiencing life threatening depression, psychological disorders, such as eating disorders, serious mental illness, severe behaviour disorders and disabling reactions to handicapping conditions, trauma and abuse.

Services include clinical assessment, treatment (individual, group, family), crisis intervention, clinical consultation by psychiatrists, and community planning and coordinated case management.

Educational workshops and resource materials also offered.

The walk-in intake clinic is held each week on Thursday afternoons from 1 to 3pm. No referral is necessary. Intake clinic is for children, youth aged to 19 years and their families where children and youth can receive a same-day initial assessment by a trained professional in a confidential environment.
