MCFD Child and Youth Special Needs Services - Nelson

Specialized services and funding options may be available for children or teens (and their families) who have special needs including those diagnosed with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
• Hearing or vision loss
• Complex health needs
• Intellectual Disabilities

Please note that, in most cases, certain eligibility requirements must be met in order to qualify for services.

Children and Youth with Special Needs (CYSN) staff are available to discuss what services might be available and provide other useful information or support.
