Kootenay Boundary Adult Supported Recovery Program (KBSRP) - Nelson

An 8-bed supported independent living program located in Nelson for adult (19+) residents of the Kootenay Boundary region. It is for those who do not require medically supported withdrawal management and do require housing and supports while receiving treatment for problematic substance use.

Program is less intensive than residential treatment and has a focus on education and life-skills training that will help the participant to reintegrate successfully into the community.

Participants will work with a Primary Clinician and Life Skills Workers to make the changes they want in their substance use and life, while residing in one of three sites across Nelson. The maximum length of stay is 6 months and participants will be supported to develop a realistic transition plan back to their communities.
