McKim Cottage Stabilization Unit

Provides many services including:

• Community residential programs
• Adult community support
• Adult short-term assessment and treatment
• Geriatric programs
• Crisis intervention
• Day and outpatient programs 
• Addictions counselling
• Concurrent disorders services 
• Group therapy
• Peer support
• After-hours mental health support.

Provides a safe, structured and supervised therapeutic environment in a residential setting for adults with mental illness who are experiencing a crisis.

Offers separation from the stressful environment with support and resolution of the immediate crisis with the goal being that of stabilization and re-adjustment to community living.
