Sunshine Valley Community Services

A community based private agency that has been working with those with diverse abilities in Grand Forks and its surrounding communities since February of 2002.

Provides support for individuals to work, learn, live, and play while being contributing members of their community; promotes self-determination, dignity, and community inclusion for all people.

Provides a variety of support services including:

Community Inclusion Services
Offers the opportunity for those served to move toward self-sufficiency to the limits of their individual capacity in an environment that respects individual values, strengths, and diversities.

Opportunities are provided in a safe, healthy, educational atmosphere, supporting persons served in progressing towards meaningful personal goals within their community. 

Independent Living/Outreach Services
Provides augmentation of personalized living skills;  services are adapted to specific needs that, with support, enable the continuation and enhancement of quality semi-independent and independent living.

Employment Services
Provides employment options for adults with diverse abilities who want to transition into permanent, paid employment that meets their unique skills, talents, and abilities with the needs of employers in the community.
