Trail Parks and Recreation

Responsible for providing community based recreation programs, services and recreation facilities in the Trail area.

The Department operates the Trail Memorial Centre, the Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre, the Willi Krause Fieldhouse, and approximately 20 developed parks within the City of Trail.

The Trail Leisure Guide contains information about a number of Fitness and other programs specifically for seniors,  as well as details about several programs which financially assist low income families to gain access to recreation programs and activities. These include Greater Trail KidSport, Canadian Jump Start and the Leisure Access Pass.

Recreation Program fees may vary depending on a participant's permanent residence and whether or not they are eligible for a TRP card. See the Trail Resident Program (TRP) for more information.
