Website connects poverty and family law advocates and social justice lawyers from across BC working on issues like housing, income, workers’ rights, Indigenous legal issues, and more.

 

Includes up-to-date information about welfare and housing laws, links to various electronic resources, information about books, videos and films about poverty and general research tools.

Resources include the Find an Advocate Tool

The PovNet project is directed by a steering committee comprised of grassroots organizations and service providers concerned about poverty and legal issues.

Also hosts a number of confidential email lists for advocates and community workers working with poor and otherwise disadvantaged people.
